Once a reservation is made online, the time and date selected will be held for 24 hours. CLIENT will have 24 hours to secure the reservation by completing the contract and paying the negotiated balance. If the contract has not been signed and the balance has not been paid after the 24 period has passed the reservation will be made available to other potential CLIENTs.
FORCE MAJEURE: The Tennessee Wedding Room shall not be held liable for failure to comply with the terms of this agreement due to force majeure causes beyond The Tennessee Wedding Room’s control, without the malfeasance or negligence of The Tennessee Wedding Room. Any force majeure event relates to any act or event that prevents The Tennessee Wedding Room from performing their obligations. Examples of force majeure events include, but is not limited to, acts of God, injury, vehicular accident, criminal act against The Tennessee Wedding Room, epidemic, pandemic, terrorist act, technological failures, infrastructure failures, government failure, identity theft, fire, internet failure, lightning strikes, inclement weather, thunder storms, earthquakes, natural disasters, governmental unrest, regulation changes, childbirth, blackouts, flood, tornado, acts of violence, acts of war, drought, revolution, tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, tax changes, or court proceedings.
CANCELLATION: Cancellations initiated by CLIENT are non-refundable. CLIENT understands that by agreeing to this contract The Tennessee Wedding Room will miss out on other bookings and revenue opportunities.
If The Tennessee Wedding Room initiates a cancellation outside of an event of force majeure, all payments made to The Tennessee Wedding Room on behalf of CLIENT shall be fully refunded. For cancellations made as a result of force majeure The Tennessee Wedding Room will make every effort to reschedule before processing a refund. The Tennessee Wedding Room will initiate all cancellations in writing. Payments made to The Tennessee Wedding Room will be refunded no later than 30 days after the cancellation.
CLIENT understands that there are no refunds for online ceremonies. CLIENT understands that requests for cancellation of in-person ceremonies must be made in writing at least one week before the ceremony date. For cancellations made by CLIENT one week prior to the ceremony date CLIENT shall forfeit any and all deposits made to The Tennessee Wedding Room. CLIENT understands that pursuant to this contract, The Tennessee Wedding Room forgoes other bookings for said date and time. For cancellations made to in-person ceremonies within the week before the scheduled ceremony time there will be no refunds. CLIENT understands that in exchange for this consideration, and for loss of income that would occur due to cancellation, all deposit payments are final, non-refundable and shall be liquidated damages to The Tennessee Wedding Room.
RESCHEDULING: In the event that CLIENT needs to reschedule an in-person ceremony, CLIENT must do so in writing at least 1 day in advance of the day and time of their ceremony to for their request to be honored. In the event that CLIENT needs to reschedule an online ceremony, CLIENT must do so in writing at least 1 hour in advance of the day and time of their ceremony to for their request to be honored. Ceremonies can be rescheduled for an agreed upon time no later than 2 months into the future.
The CLIENT is also responsible for any other damages suffered to The Tennessee Wedding Room that result from rescheduling or cancellation. CLIENT understands that by agreeing to this contract The Tennessee Wedding Room will likely miss out on other bookings and revenue opportunities.
In the event that The Tennessee Wedding Room needs to reschedule, or find a suitable replacement, The Tennessee Wedding Room will do so in writing at least 1 week in advance of the day and time of CLIENT’s ceremony. Cancellations not resulting from force majeure will be refunded. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.
Prices and services are subject to change at any time without notice. Additional fees for the rescheduling of services may apply. If the service, package, or price has changed after the reschedule notice, CLIENT must choose from the new options at the time of reschedule. Moreover, the new date must be established at least one week before the date of the originally scheduled ceremony. If the date is not reestablished and the ceremony doesn’t occur within this time frame, the event will be deemed as a cancellation and our cancellation policy will take effect as outlined above.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY: In the unlikely event that The Tennessee Wedding Room is unable to perform the services of this contract due to CLIENT being more than 15 minutes late, late guests, non-compliance with generally accepted standards of public decorum, or other cause beyond the control of The Tennessee Wedding Room, the ceremony will be deemed cancelled and all payments will be forfeit.
DISPUTES: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of The State of Tennessee. Any dispute, claim, action or suit arising out of or relating to this agreement shall be settled by binding arbitration. Arbitration shall be conducted in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. If held liable, CLIENT shall be responsible for costs and fees of arbitration incurred by The Tennessee Wedding Room.
INJURY WAIVER; RELEASE: To the extent permitted by law, The Tennessee Wedding Room shall not be liable for any injuries or damages to CLIENT arising out of or related to The Tennessee Wedding Room’s performance of the services. CLIENT hereby release The Tennessee Wedding Room from all manners of claims, actions, and demands for or by reason of any injury to CLIENT which has been sustained upon arrival, while transferring, during the ceremony, or after the ceremony, and notwithstanding that such injury or damage may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of The Tennessee Wedding Room.
INDEMNIFICATION: The Tennessee Wedding Room shall not be held responsible for any and all injury to CLIENT during the course of the arrival, while using the venue, during the ceremony, or after departure.
