Amani is the lead coordinator for Tennessee Wedding Room. Amani holds a Masters of Business Administration from Tennessee State University, is a licensed and bonded notary public, and has been a prayer and meditation leader since 2018.  Thousands of people have come to rely on Amani for meditation, prayer, life advice and spiritual guidance.  Amani's mission is to connect with each couple to make sure that their ceremony is full of love and good feelings.  Amani is happy to perform a Christian, non-denominational, non-religious, or civil ceremony according to your preferences. 

I enjoy bringing families together and helping them to seal their sacred bond through marriage.  I am a prayer leader, public speaker, poet, and professional notary public who can help ensure that your marriage license is completed perfectly.

As a Nashville native, I have personally witnessed the growth in my city.  Part of that growth has contributed to an increase in wedding ceremonies.  With Nashville's beautiful scenery and natural landscapes, it is the perfect background for any wedding.  Having said that, I would be honored to be a part of your wedding ceremony as an officiant and share the beauty my city has to offer as you take the next major step in your journey through life.

I really like the idea of a simple, intimate ceremony with loved ones.  Whether that be just the couple or their biggest supporters. Some are choosing to get legally married before the actual ceremony and I think that is a wonderful idea.  I feel like it takes some stress off the couple, because they can go ahead and move forward with certain legalities.  I love each opportunity to be a part of something special and life changing.

Kristen enjoys exploring the history and magic of  the connections between people and places, and sharing true stories about love and commitment. She's an advocate for marriage equality, individuality, and for love is love. When not assisting with tying the knot, Kristen is a mom to a teen  girl, writing, traveling the world, or hunting for pizza in Nashville that is better than that of her hometown NYC.  ¡Hablo Español!
